ZYCOSIL is classified as an organo silane, and works on all silica based materials (i.e. brick, stone, concrete, block, sand, soil, mortar, etc.). It uses water as the carrier at a 20:1 or 10:1 ratio, absorbs into the material, and then creates a chemical reaction which reverses the surface from a water absorbing to a water repelling surface.

ZycoSoil is EPA registered and classified non-hazardous and non-toxic. Once applied in diluted form, ZycoSoil renders most soils impervious to water intrusion, which drastically reduces the potential for rutting and mud slides. ZycoSoil has proven to be very effective in improving the compaction of soils, which helps maintain overall soil structure, density and resistance to erosion.

Application of Zycosil creates a hydrophobic (water repellent) surface. Wetting and bonding of any cementitious mixture on this surface is difficult. To ensure proper wetting & bonding of tiles/cement; joints/plastering, Zycosil treated surfaces will need a bonding agent. Zycoprime forms a fine film on the Zycosil treated surface. This helps the adherence of cement & sand / gravel mixtures on this surface.

Zycofil is a nano polymer dispersion (10-20 nm); used for sealing micro cracks & nano pores in Slabs, Cement/Asbestos Sheets, Water Storage Tanks & Cement Pipes. Zycofil enhances the water proofing property of Zycosil treated surfaces by filling up or sealing microcracks or nano pores; and is recommended to be used with Zycosil.
